The 4 signs of what you were born to do

The 4 signs of what you were born to do

Each and every one on earth was given purpose and grace before time began (2 Tim 1:9).

Before you existed, purpose and grace were given to you.

Purpose is what you were born to do and grace is the empowerment to fulfil your purpose.

You will know you have found your purpose (what you were born to do) by the grace attached to it.

If there is no grace attached to what you are doing (your job/work/career), it’s not your purpose and you are not fulfilling what God called, designed, graced and purposed you to do. Whatever your purpose is, there will be grace attached to that purpose.

How do you know if there is grace attached to your purpose (what you were born to do)?

Here are 4 signs:

  1. You will know there is grace attached to your purpose (what you were born to do) because you ENJOY it- you enjoy your job/work/career. So if you dread going to work, it’s a sure sign you were not born to do it and therefore not graced for it.
  2. Whatever you are graced to do, you have the opportunity (at work) to use the gifts God gave you. Whatever you are graced to do, there are gifts that come out of that grace. You can discover what you are graced (born, called, purposed, designed) to do by looking at the gifts you have, what you are good at and naturally gravitate toward.
  3. Whatever you are graced to do, there will be fruit upon what you do and seeing those fruit will give you joy. If you are good at what you do and there is fruit but it does not give you joy, it is another sign you are born, called, graced and designed for something else.
  4. This sign usually agitates the religious spirit: Whatever you are graced to do, you’ll be able to make money doing it. God’s purpose for your life is not necessarily “church stuff” like being a pastor, missionary, charity work, etc.

Some people are graced to be in business for themselves, or in education or creative arts or medicine. God calls some to be in the market place and He provides income for what they are graced to do through a “secular” job/work/career.

So have a look at what you enjoy doing and is there a way you can create income, making money doing it. That might be a sign you are born, called, purposed, graced and designed to be in the market place.

These 4 signs can be clues to what you were born, called, purposed and graced to do and therefor God’s purpose for your life.
